While some 3PLs boast the enormity of their carrier base, Camryn Logistics prefers to have a smaller team of contracted partner carriers who meet a specific set of guidelines intended to mitigate as much risk as possible for both the customer and Camryn. The primary function of the Procurement/Carrier Management department is to manage key qualification elements for our network of carriers including insurance, safety, authority, modes and hazmat certification.

In order to ensure that only the most cost effective and qualified carriers are utilized to move your business forward, Camryn uses a Targeted Carrier Selection Process to build its transportation network. Cost to the customer, proximity from the shipper and available equipment are all considered when determining which carriers will be matched with your freight.
Camryn continuously monitors its carriers to make certain that all criteria required of our partner carriers are maintained throughout the life of their relationship with Camryn. Those carriers who experience a lapse in insurance or fall below a Satisfactory DOT rating are no longer eligible to run your freight.
